Nepali actress Rekha Thapa has won the best actress award in HTV Filmykhabar D Cine Award. Rekha was awarded the award for her role in her movie ‘Lanka’. A movie on the story of lesbian lover, "Soongava: Dance of the Orchids" has been a critically acclaimed movie appreciated by a lot of viewers. In a recent screening in Italy, the movie bagged a jury award in Italy Film Festival. The movie also created a buzz in in Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay film festival.

‘Soongava: Dance of the Orchids’ was selected to represent Nepal in Best Foreign Film category of Oscar Awards. Directed by Subarna Thapa, the movie features Deeya Maskey, Nisha Adhikari, Saugat Malla, Basundhara Bhusal in main roles. The movie is made on the tragic love story of social problems for the same-sex relationships in Nepal.

Nisha Adhikari appointed brand ambassador of Suzuki bikes

Vishal Group has appointed actress Nisha Adhikari the ambassador to promote Suzuki branded two-wheelers. The Group has started distributing the motorcycles after being successful in getting the dealership from Suzuki Motorcycle India. The company opened two show rooms on Monday at Teku in Kathmandu and Kumaripati in Lalitpur.

While Vishal Group has stared distributing the bike under it’s subsidiary VG Suzuki, Suzuki’s previous dealer, Ganesh Enterprise, will also continue distributing the bikes in Nepal. VG Suzuki will only distribute the bikes manufactured in India. Currently, five brands being distributed by the company include Suzuki GS150R, Hayate, Sling Shot Plus, Swish 125 and Access 125.

Nisha has been the brand ambassadors of other companies like Mahindra E-20 Car, Himstar, Kumari Rice, Reliance Paints and Nimbas Nepal. With these popularity, she has become one of the the most liked celebrities in the corporate circle.

Nisha Adhikari appreciates Priyanka Karki’s choreography skills

It is rare that an actress in Nepali film industry appreciate another actress. Pulling each other’s legs is one of the favorite game in the industry. So, Nisha’s positive comment on actress Priyanka Karki‘s potential in Nepali film industry can be considered a rare incident.

As we have already reported about Priyanka Karki choreographing in her upcoming movie ‘Mission Paisa Reloaded’. After she choreographed the song featuring Nisha Adhikari, Nisha told Priyanka is a "great choreographer in making". She also added, they have been friends for the last seven years.

About the strength of Priyanka, Nisha says, "With her eyes for details and hard work she is not just a rising star but is a potential changing agent of our industry."

Actress Priyanka Karki is known as a good dancer. Now, the actress is going to choreograph her own dances in an upcoming movie ‘Mission Paisa Reloaded’.

Priyanka says that this is not the first time she is choreographing a song. She had choreographed the dance in her debut movie ‘Mero Best Friend’. Priyanka has choreographed the item dance of the movie on Monday. On Wednesday she is going to help actress Nisha Adhikari dance in romantic song.

The movie ‘Mission Paisa Reloaded’ is a sequel of ‘Mission Paisa’ by Resh Marahatta. The movie is being produced and directed by Simosh Sunuwar. The shooting of the movie is expected to complete in a week.
